While my approach is rooted in body-based therapies, I like to spend time at the beginning simply building rapport and getting an understanding of your life experience, worldview, and the systems you exist in.
A portion of initial sessions is dedicated to gathering a trauma history. The purpose is not to open up every painful wound but to gather “headlines” of what you have experienced so I know how I can best support you.
I use your presenting issues, identified goals, and my clinical judgment to help guide our time. Some sessions may have quite a bit of talking, while others may be more quiet and focused in body-awareness and your “felt sense.” It will depend on what seems to be most helpful for you.
If you have been in therapy before, I may differ from your previous experience in that I interject at times to help deepen awareness. A part of my approach is rooted in making the unconscious conscious so we can work with it, and sometimes that means I point something out or slow you down. I also understand that there are times where you may simply need to be heard and process verbally.
My hope is that as we get to know each other, we can co-create a flow that is comfortable enough for you but also challenges you in a way that supports your goals. It’s a dance that looks different with each client!

The rate for a 60-minute session is $165.
I do not accept insurance but I can accept HSA cards.
You may be able to file a claim with your insurance company to receive full or partial reimbursement for sessions. This can be done with a superbill, which details your sessions and can be sent monthly to you. I cannot guarantee that your sessions will be covered, but you can reach out to your insurance provider before we meet to see what may be covered.

It’s important to me to honor my personal ethics around accessibility and equity in health services. I have a designated number of spots reserved for clients who need an income-based adjusted rate and maintain one pro-bono client on my caseload.

Supervision and mentorship are some of my biggest passions. If you’re curious about receiving supervision, please use the form under the Contact tab to connect with me. We can have a consult call to ensure I could be a good fit to serve your clinical development.
While I can offer consultation with any practitioner, I can only offer supervision hours for practitioners in Indiana at this time.
